Please try to have a firm or as close to a firm count of players as possible before booking so we can accommodate the rooms accordingly.

15) Can we take photos or videos inside the room?
We do not allow video or photos to be taken while inside the room, as we do wish to keep clues and puzzles a surprise for future players. However, the lobby spaces and hallways are perfectly acceptable for video and photo ops. If the Game Master sees this rule violated, however, the game will end, and you will be asked to leave the room. There will be NO refunds given for your expulsion. Posting/sharing instructions on how to play the room(s) is also strictly prohibited.
16) Can I tell my friends how the room was?
We encourage sharing your experience with others, however, we do ask that you keep certain elements to yourself. Please share how much fun you had, but we don’t want you ruining some of our awesome surprises and puzzles for future players. Please be mindful of what details you share. That does include posting/sharing information on social media platforms as well. Don’t spoil the game for others.
17) Are the rooms safe?
Yes. The rooms are built and designed with your safety in mind. We do recommend that you follow basic common curtesy rules, such as (but not limited to): No running, climbing (unless the room permits), or damaging the room by breaking props, equipment, or technology.
18) What if I break something?
We understand that accidents happen, but it is no accident if you blatantly break a prop or object due to neglect, frustration, or simple tom foolery. You will be charged for damages made to any prop, set piece, or technological equipment due to recklessness. Please be respectful, as each prop/element is handmade/built, and not easily replaceable.
19) Is an escape room scary?
Generally, no. Escape rooms are tended more towards themed puzzle solving challenges that advance the story of a room. They are typically not designed to frighten you. We do have (at the moment) one room that is catered more to scare tactics, such as scare actors and “scary” design elements. Please refer to our scare chart for each room description to find the right “scare level” for your group.

We do not allow food or drinks inside our escape rooms.

Absolutely not. All of our rooms are ADA compliant. “Escape 618” is a family friendly facility for everyone, regardless of mobility.

There are two free public parking lots available. One is directly behind the Lincoln Theatre, and the other is directly behind the “Escape 618” building, commonly referred to as Ben’s parking lot. Please note, there is street parking available, but those spots are limited to one hour parking limits, and are reserved mainly for the short term shoppers along East Main Street.
