A private room, a late start time, and a short walk to dinner make Escape 618 a simple way to kick off a bachelor or bachelorette night. Every booking is just your group, so no strangers get folded into your party. Pick a room that matches how much of a scare your crew wants, then head out for the rest of the evening.
Which room fits your crew?
We have three rooms open right now, each one designed and built in-house by owner Tyler Renner and his team, not bought from a catalog. The Jail Cell is our hardest room, a solid pick if your group wants a real test: roughly one in three teams manage to break out before time runs out. Detention gives everyone a lighter start, with no scares built in, which works well if part of your crew would rather ease into the night. The Haunted House of Alice is our only room with a live actor, built for groups chasing jump scares and a room lit with strobes, though it leans spooky without any gore. Detention works for players 10 and up, The Jail Cell is for 13 and up, and The Haunted House of Alice is 16 and up, so pick based on your group’s mix of ages and nerve.
How does a bachelor or bachelorette night here work?
Every booking at Escape 618 is private, so you’ll never be paired with people outside your party. Rooms hold 4-8 players, aside from Detention, which takes up to 12. If your group is larger than that, you can spread across more than one room, with space for up to 40 players across the whole building at once. Plan on 75-90 minutes total once you include check-in, a digital waiver, and a quick briefing from your game master before the clock starts. Games can begin at 9:30 PM at the latest, Thursday through Sunday, so your crew can start the night with us before moving on.
How does dinner on Main Street fit in?
Escape 618 sits at 102 East Main Street, in downtown Belleville, with restaurants and bars a short walk away. Once your hour is up, your group can walk straight to dinner without needing to drive anywhere: Papa Vito’s for Italian, Casa Maria for Mexican, or Sugar High if anyone wants something sweet first. Parking is free, with a lot right behind the building and free street parking close by, so gathering the group beforehand is easy too.
