Yes, if you want your group talking and working together instead of sitting through another meeting. Escape 618’s rooms are private and built around communication, which makes them a solid pick for staff outings, onboarding days, leadership retreats, and holiday parties. The room you choose should match your group’s size and how much of a challenge they’re looking for.
Who does this work well for?
Any group that wants to solve something together, not just watch a presentation. Every booking at Escape 618 is private, so your team never shares a room with strangers. Each room needs at least 4 players, because the puzzles are built around people talking to each other, splitting up tasks, and sharing what they find. Pairs tend to go quiet, and groups of three often get stuck and give up.
Which room fits your team?
Each room plays differently, so it’s worth matching the room to your group before you book.
- Detention is the most family-friendly option, with no scares and no sudden lighting changes. It’s the most puzzle-heavy of the three rooms, built for groups that want a classic lock-and-key style challenge. It fits 4 to 12 players, and with two nearly identical rooms running together, a split team of up to 24 can play at the same time. About 75 percent of teams make it out, so it’s a good choice for a mixed group with different comfort levels.
- The Jail Cell is for a team that wants a real test. Players start locked in four separate cells, so they have to describe what they see and call out what they need before they can even start working together. It holds 4 to 8 players, and only about a third of teams escape.
- The Haunted House of Alice has a live actor, jump scares, and sudden lighting and sound changes, and it’s for ages 16 and up only. It’s worth checking with the whole group first since not everyone wants that kind of experience at a company event.
Can we book after hours or pay by invoice?
Yes. Larger teams can book the whole building outside regular hours, by appointment, with room for up to 40 players at once. We can invoice your company directly, we accept tax-exempt paperwork, and we offer custom pricing for big corporate events. Food and drinks are welcome at private after-hours events when you clear it with us ahead of time.
How does the visit run?
Each game runs 60 minutes, but plan for 75 to 90 minutes total. That covers checking in, signing a digital waiver, a short briefing from your game master, and a group photo once you’re done, win or lose. You can see open times and book directly at escape618.com/booking/.
How do you plan around the details?
A few small things make the day go smoother for an office group. Closed-toe shoes are required, and since some rooms involve crawling, it’s worth mentioning to your team that older clothes are a good call. There’s no photography or video during the game itself, but everyone gets a free group photo afterward. The main level is fully accessible. The Jail Cell is in the basement, reached by stairs or a powered chair lift, so call ahead if anyone in your group needs it. Once your game wraps up, the front patio has eight picnic tables, and there’s a row of restaurants and bars within walking distance on Main Street if your team wants to keep the outing going.
